Pembahasan

Pameran seni rupa merupakan suatu kegiatan yang diselenggarakan dengan tujuan untuk menarik apresiasi masyarakat terhadap karya seni rupa sekaligus untuk mempertemukan apresiator atau penikmat seni rupa dengan pencipta seni rupa.

Untuk menampilkan karya seni rupa yang berwujud dua dimensi, yaitu karya yang hanya memiliki dimensi panjang dan lebar serta hanya dapat dilihat dari satu sudut pandang saja, penyelenggara pameran biasanya menempatkan karya seni pada suatu panel atau papan tripleks yang kemudian dipasang atau digantung pada dinding atau sekat ruangan tempat pameran berlangsung.
